The House investigative committee has published a collection of approximately 70 photographs secured from the holdings of deceased convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

This constitutes the latest in a series of publication from a tranche of in excess of 95,000 photographs the committee has secured from Epstein's holdings. It features pictures of quotes from the literary work Lolita written across a female's body, and obscured pictures of female international passports.

This action comes mere hours before the 19th of December due date for the DOJ to make public each records associated with its investigation into Epstein.

"These new images raise additional inquiries about exactly what the Department of Justice has in its possession," stated the ranking member of the committee, Robert Garcia.

What is in the Photographs Released

Several of the photos released on this week show Epstein speaking with academic and activist Noam Chomsky aboard a private jet; Bill Gates standing next to a individual whose features is redacted; Steve Bannon seated at a workstation opposite Epstein, and former Alphabet president Sergey Brin at a evening meal.

These are the newest affluent, powerful men to be pictured in Epstein estate images released by the House Oversight Committee - previously released pictures also depict US President Donald Trump and past president Bill Clinton, as well as movie director Woody Allen, ex- US Treasury Secretary Larry Summers, counsel Alan Dershowitz, Andrew Mountbatton-Windsor, and others.

Being pictured in the photographs is not proof of any illegal activity, and several of the pictured individuals have said they were not involved in Epstein's criminal activity.

In a announcement accompanying the photo publication, Democrats on the US House Oversight Committee noted the Epstein estate did not provide background information or dates for the pictures.

"Photos were selected to provide the general populace with openness into a representative sample of the images received from the estate, and to offer insights into Epstein's circle and his profoundly disturbing actions," the statement states.

The release also includes several photos of quotes from the Vladimir Nabokov novel Lolita inscribed in ink across different parts of a woman's body, such as her chest, lower extremity, hipbone, and spine. Lolita recounts the story of a young girl who was manipulated by a middle-aged literature professor.

One passage from the novel inscribed across a female's torso reads, "Lolita's name: the point of the tongue taking a trip of three steps down the roof of the mouth to land, at three, on the teeth".

There are also a collection of photos of women's identification and identification documents from nations globally, like Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

The majority of the information on the IDs, like names and birth dates, is obscured but the committee stated in a press release that the passports belong to "individuals whom Jeffrey Epstein and his co-conspirators were involved with".

An additional image features Epstein positioned at a table in close proximity in the company of three individuals whose faces have been obscured - one has her hand on Epstein's chest under his garment, and another individual is leaning to look at a adjacent device. Epstein can be seen to be helping the third individual put on a piece of jewelry.

A further image made public is a image of SMS messages from an unidentified sender who claims they have been sent "several females" and are asking for "$$1,000 for each individual".

Image Publication Occurs Before DOJ Deadline

The body has a vast number of photos in its holdings from the Epstein property, which are "at once disturbing and everyday," its statement on recently clarified.

The oversight panel first legally compelled the property of Epstein, who passed away in a New York prison in 2019 while facing trial on allegations of sex trafficking, in August.

The images and records the Epstein property submitted to the body are separate from what is largely referred to "the Epstein files". That material are papers in the justice department's custody associated with its independent probe into Epstein.

In accordance with the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which the President made law last month, the DOJ has a deadline of 19 December to publish its documents. The scope of the contents contained in the DOJ's records is not publicly known, and it's expected that a significant portion of the information will be significantly redacted, akin to Congressional documents
