The young full-back One more composed performance by the 20-year-old following his first cap against Serbia. Saka did not capitalize on the most of a clever touch over their defense. The role is his to lose so soon. 7/10

The newcomer His maiden beginning in an England shirt. Slightly careless on the ball though his dangerous corners caused problems. A handy game manager available to the coach to call upon versus sides that sit back. Cautioned for a poorly timed challenge. 6/10

Declan Rice Set-pieces from corners and free-kicks created chances. Was given freedom to move in left midfield only to be offside when the ball arrived in shooting positions. Given a well-earned substitution after an hour. 6

Jude Bellingham Operated in an advanced spot out wide and put in dirty work. Showed flashes of quality but dragged an effort over. Replaced late on by a teammate, a fellow player, following a yellow card. Seven

The winger Was presented with the team's best chance before halftime, his strike excellently kept out by the Albanian keeper. With Quansah holding position, it fell to him to provide width out wide although his balls from wide areas varied in quality. Replaced for the final quarter-hour. Six

Harry Kane The decisive figure with his seventy-seventh and seventy-eighth finishes for his country. The opener a typical poacher’s finish and the second a superb finish with his head following a clever run away from the opposition. At 32, he’s only getting better and England stand a real opportunity in the upcoming tournament with him leading the line. 8/10

The attacker Found it tough to make an impact on the left flank. Was presented with a decent opportunity following a pass by Bellingham but Strakosha kept it out. Rashford had a greater influence when substituted. Five
